Hello all you happy campers out there in the internets.
What am I up to nowadays, you may ask? Or you may not, whatever, if you're here, you're going to find out anyway!
Currently, I'm waiting to be paid for some work I did two months ago, which is always very frustrating. But not uncommon, apparently in my life.
I took to doing a few commissions, the card is an example of one. First time I've drawn Goblin Queen since my work on X-Force... or was that X-Factor... Mutant X? Yeah, I think it was Mutant X... who remembers these things?
Work related: I'm doing some work for Wildstorm right now, some fill-in pages on The Authority, and followed by a stint on their Starcraft book, based on the popular videogame.
That's about it in the comic book world for me right now. I'm still playing around in Hollywood trying to get things moving there. I don't want to talk about anything until something actually happens. A couple years ago, my book 'Deal with the Devil' was optioned by Lionsgate, which was pretty cool. But Hollywood is an odd beast, and does things at it's own pace, so I don't sit here anxiously anticipating anything. If God wills, something will be made, and hopefully made well.
Other business, I'm now working with a company called 'Evolv'. They offer what I would practically call a miracle product. It's a formula that was developed, I believe at MD Anderson Cancer research center, and bought by billionaire entrepreneur Trey White of Dallas, TX. The formula actually oxygenates the body at the cellular level. That has remarkable benefits, including being an inflammatory, increasing energy and stamina, and reducing recovery time. I'm going to start blogging about that and getting as much information out there about it as possible. It's a network marketing system, so anyone can be a distributor, if they like, or just buy the product at wholesale by signing up here: http://underdog.myevolv.biz
Family is growing, and growing more and more rambunctious. lol
We've got 4 now, and one due in December, so... yeah, we've got our hands full, that's for sure.
Still living in Sunny San Diego. Can't complain about that... :)
Well, I guess that's about it for right now. Maybe I should post some of the artwork I'm doing. We'll see.
