Cards, Cards, Cards...

I mentioned that I was doing a SLEW of Ironman sketch cards for Upper Deck. I thought I'd start posting them here soon, but before I do, I know there are a lot of sketch card collectors and completists out there, so I wanted to post ALL my Marvel Masterpieces cards from last year, so people know what they're missing. This is the first batch. I'll get more up tomorrow.

Enjoy!

SO TIRED

Holy cow am I busy.

Okay, so I believe I mentioned that I'm working on Starcraft for Wildstorm/DC Comics? I also took on a slew of cards for Upper Deck, 750 of them due December 31st. Spending what extra time I can muster to build my Evolv business, and help my preggers wife with the kids and around the house as well as I can... I'm exHAUsted...

So that isn't enough... if the Dabels ever get around to paying me, I'll have to pick up the Dean Koontz project again, and do that on top of everything else. And then on November 10th, Modern Warfare 2 comes out, and you know I HAVE to play that game!

Oh, then to top it all off... nevermind it being the holiday season... the baby is due on Dec. 18th.

I'm not complaining, I love being busy. I'm a workaholic. My wife complains that I don't know how to relax. (I'm blogging at 2:43am) But seriously, can God please just drop a million bucks in my lap so I can force myself to take a vacation??? Come on, God... you own the universe, a couple pounds of gold ain't no big thing! Please?

Oh, fine. I guess I'll just keep at it, and thank Him for the blessing of having work in these tough economic times.

Peace out!

Top 100 out of 10's of thousands! WOOT!

Okay, I know most of you won't come here to listen to me brag about how well I'm doing in a network marketing business. But there was this contest to win a free case of Evolv, before pretty much anyone else gets to order theirs, and you had to be one of the top 100 to sign up new pre-enrollees.

And I made it. I couldn't believe it, but I did. I'll be giving it out to friends and family who will benefit from it's unique health benefits, and keeping a few bottles for myself. I just thought I'd mention it here, because I am STOKED. Just feels like I accomplished something I set out to do, even though I had no expectation that I would. It's a nice feeling. :)

God bless!

Hello all you happy campers out there in the internets.

What am I up to nowadays, you may ask? Or you may not, whatever, if you're here, you're going to find out anyway!

Currently, I'm waiting to be paid for some work I did two months ago, which is always very frustrating. But not uncommon, apparently in my life.

I took to doing a few commissions, the card is an example of one. First time I've drawn Goblin Queen since my work on X-Force... or was that X-Factor... Mutant X? Yeah, I think it was Mutant X... who remembers these things?

Work related: I'm doing some work for Wildstorm right now, some fill-in pages on The Authority, and followed by a stint on their Starcraft book, based on the popular videogame.

Just recently, a project I worked on last year was released into the 'iphone' world, it was an adaptation of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. You can download it at itunes here: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=327437862&mt=8
That's about it in the comic book world for me right now. I'm still playing around in Hollywood trying to get things moving there. I don't want to talk about anything until something actually happens. A couple years ago, my book 'Deal with the Devil' was optioned by Lionsgate, which was pretty cool. But Hollywood is an odd beast, and does things at it's own pace, so I don't sit here anxiously anticipating anything. If God wills, something will be made, and hopefully made well.

Other business, I'm now working with a company called 'Evolv'. They offer what I would practically call a miracle product. It's a formula that was developed, I believe at MD Anderson Cancer research center, and bought by billionaire entrepreneur Trey White of Dallas, TX. The formula actually oxygenates the body at the cellular level. That has remarkable benefits, including being an inflammatory, increasing energy and stamina, and reducing recovery time. I'm going to start blogging about that and getting as much information out there about it as possible. It's a network marketing system, so anyone can be a distributor, if they like, or just buy the product at wholesale by signing up here: http://underdog.myevolv.biz

Family is growing, and growing more and more rambunctious. lol

We've got 4 now, and one due in December, so... yeah, we've got our hands full, that's for sure.

Still living in Sunny San Diego. Can't complain about that... :)

Well, I guess that's about it for right now. Maybe I should post some of the artwork I'm doing. We'll see.
